Tiny Tot Combo

Welcome to Tiny Tot Combo! Creative movement, song, and dance will encourage social and motor development. Basic dance skills and terminology are introduced at this level as well as musicality, coordination, listening, and following directions. Tap and Ballet shoes are needed for this class.

Tumble Tykes

Welcome to Tumble Tykes! Every class will start with warm up exercises and stretches. This is necessary for developing strength, flexibility, and control. Basic tumbling skills are introduced at this level as well as coordination, balance, and limberness. Tumbling shoes are needed for this class.

Ballet

Ballet is the foundation of all forms of dance. The mechanics of ballet technique and its vocabulary are taught at the barre and in the center. Ballet will help with strength, flexibility, and stamina. Ballet classes are very structured and disciplined.

Tap

Tap class will emphasizes rhythm and sound. Students will start with the basics including terminology, basic tap technique, and building to advanced combination.

Jazz

Jazz classes will start with a warm up, progressions, center work ending with a combination. Learn skills to execute contemporary and traditional jazz technique, while developing coordination and musicality.

Hip Hop

Come and learn the hottest in hip hop and street dance trends. Hip hop classes wiil start with a warm up, progressions, combination in the center, and always ends with improving. Emphasis is on developing individual style.

Tumbling

Tumbling classes will start with a warm up, center work, and passes down the floor. A thorough warm up is necessary for developing strength, flexibility, and control, conditioning to prevent injuries, and developing body awareness and placement. Good form and proper technique is highly stressed. Students will learn individual skills, combination of skills, and will incorporate dance with tumbling skills.

Lyrical

Lyrical is offered to students who have at least 3 years of ballet training. This class focuses on teaching dancers about creative expression. Lyrical class is a slower tempo class incorporating ballet and modern and emphasizing emotional expression in music as well as fluidity and floor work. Students must a have a strong background in jazz and ballet.

Modern

Modern is offered to students who have at least 3 years of ballet training. This class focuses on the mind, body and spirit through movement. This class incorporates structured technical exercises that condition the body for strength. Modern is constantly developing.

Pointe

Pointe work is traditionally done in a hard blocked pointe shoe. To study pointe, students must take at least 3 hours of ballet a week. Strength, proper alignment, control/balance, and technique are all factors in determining when point study begins. Students must get permission from the ballet teacher to begin pointe.

Leaps/Turns-Strengthening/Conditioning

This class is strictly technique and emphasizes turns, leaps, tricks, and strengthening exercises. Partner work is executed in this class. This is a non performance class. We do a complete warm up, center work, and progressions. This is a great class to work on fine tuning your jazz technique.
