My children, Katie and Joseph Ortiz, have been attending MelRoe's for several years and last year Katie was chosen to be on The Dynamite Company. Since they began dancing at MelRoe's they have learned so much. They are more coordinated, stronger, have developed self-confidence, listening skills, dance technique, and proper posture. They have also learned other skills such as stage presence and team work. Along with all the learning, Katie and Joseph have had a lot of fun. I want to thank MelRoe's School of Dance and the instructors for all of your hard work in teaching my children and helping them to grow. It has been a great experience. Melanie and Rosemary are great teachers and the staff at MelRoe's all love and care about the children. I appreciate all the opportunities they have given my children. She has gained a tremendous amount of self-confidence and has no problem getting on stage. MelRoe's makes learning the art of dance fun with the routines that are taught to the students. The costumes and music have always been age appropriate , which as a parent, I greatly appreciate. MelRoe's is big on technique and this is a must for anyone who wants to compete and further their education in dance. The old dance studio was just down the street from me, but I have no problem driving further to be here. MelRoe's has done so much for Roselyn. She is more confident and feels like she can do it. Jodie Chilton Independence, MO My daughter wanted to be like her older cousin and dance. The first year was a little hard, but went she took class from Mel and Roe she was hooked! She went from being a shy,timid girl to someone who proudly dances in school talent shows and plays. She has learned poise and grace. Dancing has given her a strong foundation to be proud of herself, a strong self respect for herself and others who are dedicated to their sport. We are participating in our 13th recital and I applaud the girls and their staff for the talent they have brought out in her and that they share in giving our children a part of them.
